Relax by the lake Yukon Cabin for rent

Yukon Luxury Cabins

KitchenOur cabins are located right on the shores of a remote and pristine sub-alpine lake. Your cabin is a newly-constructed log cabin outfitted with all of the amenities to make your wilderness vacation comfortable. It has two double beds on the main floor and two single beds in the loft area. This arrangement easily accommodates groups of two to six people. The cabin is equipped with all of the necessary kitchen and cooking facilities, hot and cold running water, showerhouse, barbeque, firepit and an immaculate outhouse. We also provide a 16’ boat equipped with a 4-stroke 25 HP motor, safety gear and lots of fishing equipment.

There are two types of packages available for our summer trips:

Summer trips run from June 15 to September 15. Reservations must be made in advance; this also helps ensure your choice of dates. All trips are payable in Canadian funds plus the Canadian Government Tax (GST) of 5%. We accept cashier’s cheques, wire transfers and Interac transfers. In order to book your trip, simply contact us by email and we can discuss available dates and other trip details and can answer any questions that you may have. A trip is confirmed once we receive a 25% deposit of the total trip price. The balance plus the 5% GST is due 60 days prior to your trip start date. Once your initial deposit is received, we’ll send you a trip confirmation form, liability waiver form and a short questionnaire. We will also send a list of what we provide and a suggested “what to bring” list for personal clothing and gear.

On all of our fully guided tours you will be picked up at your Whitehorse hotel at 9 AM on your first day. We will drive approximately one hour to the trailhead where we’ll unload the ATV’s. Unless you have previous experience driving an ATV you will be a passenger with a guide. The trip to the lake is about one hour on the ATV’s. We’ll stop along the way for tea and a snack. Once we get to the lake, we’ll boat across to our cabins and get you settled in to your own luxury cabin. Available activities during your trip are fishing, hiking, boating and/or canoeing, wildlife viewing, hot-tubbing, and relaxing. All meals and snacks are provided during your stay. Not included are fishing licenses and liquor. On your last day, we will leave the cabins at about 2 PM so that you are back at your hotel at around supper time.

Please email for special family rates, larger group rates or rates for stays longer than 5 days.

2018-19 Semi-Independent Package Rates.
The daily rate for the cabin is $575 for a party of up to 4 people. The trips can be any length that you desire but there is a 3-night minimum for a minimum of 2 people. Transportation to and from is extra. There are 2 options for transportation to the cabins:

a) Transportation by chartered float aircraft. The cost is approximately $500 per person (return). The exact price depends on the exact group size but a firm quote will be given well in advance of your trip once we know your group size.

b) Transportation by ATV. The cost is approximately $250 per person (return). This option is available for groups up to 4 persons. Groups larger than 4 will have to take the chartered float aircraft option. Unless you have experience driving an ATV in an off-road, muddy environment, you will be a passenger. This is also dependent on your group size.

On our semi-independent trips, you are responsible for all of your meals. You will be picked up at your Whitehorse hotel at 9 AM on the first day of your trip and be taken to a grocery and liquor store (if desired) and a place to buy a fishing license. We have coolers available for your use. From there, you will either be taken to the floatplane base, if you are chartering in, or drive with us to the trailhead for the ATV trip into the cabins.

The cabin is fully equipped with a propane fridge/freezer, cookstove, hot and cold running water and all of the other kitchen equipment needed to cook your own meals. You also have use of a BBQ, firepit, showerhouse and a 16’ fishing boat/motor, canoe and fishing gear.
On these trips, we will provide 2 days of guided activities for you (if desired) – fishing, hiking, boating, wildlife viewing – you can decide what activities that you may want to do with us. On the other days of your trip you’re on your own to do what you want. For your convenience, we will be at our own cabin throughout your trip but you will have your privacy and independence. Our cabin is located through the forest about 250 metres (yards) away from your cabin.
